We bought it at a little antique shop in Union Pier Michigan. The place I dream of owning a little summer cottage one day.
Not one screw or nail to hold this baby together.
Here is the first flower cutting of the year, ya hoo! This is all that popped up so I brought them in and put them on a clock that I found without any hands.
I used it like a candle holder during the fall and winter but I'm loving the springy dafadils there today.
Nothing like a beat up old coffee table...
I really like it! The flowers are very pretty too.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love! (with the table) Cute idea to use the clock as a tray.

ReplyDeleteLove it...and that clock is amazing! I'm putting a note to self to plant daffodil bulbs next Fall. I planted tulips, and am so excited to see 36 of them clustered in the back. Love Spring flowers!
ReplyDeleteLoving the yellow flowers! Fresh flowers add so much to a room. I wish I could have them all the time!
ReplyDeleteOur coffee table is not old, but my 13-month old thinks it's his own drum set so I don't know how long it will last. Maybe it will end up with that old, antique look after all. Ha!
Your table and room are so beautiful. I'm continually amazed by us bloggers. We. Are. Good. I mean it. I love the way you displayed the daffodils on the old clock. Love the rug, love it all!

Now I want to see more pics of the room. It looks great! The coffee table reminds me of a set that we bought and had to return. Too wobbly for my future wrestler. Love the splash of yellow from the flowers.
ReplyDeleteI love an old coffee table with lots of memories...and the flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAdorable table and to know that it has history and comes from such a sentimental place..even better. Everytime I look at pieces like that in my own home, it makes me smile.

Lovely Little Nest,
ReplyDeleteI bought the rug at Pottery Barn for a steal of a deal. I brought it home just to try it out because it was not what I had in mind. I ended up really liking it!
I LOVE your coffee table! It totally looks like something you would pay 1,700 at Restoration Hardware. But the most wonderful thing about it is that it has history...I LOVE that!
ReplyDeleteI know this was supposed to be about the table but the daffodils were so pretty they stole the show :) Thanks for stopping by Webster's Updates and looking forward to seeing more of your projects!
