Late Summer Vacation

We are off to Michigan for a week to play and relax at the beach. Before we had the little one, my husband and I would stay in the same area at a Bed and Breakfast. Now we rent a little house in a cute beachy neighborhood.

This is a picture from last year; the little one loved her purple whale.  A dolphin will be coming with us this time.

The best part is it's only about an hour away and we don't have to get on a plane. Flying is not one of my favorite things to do.

Off to finish packing, I will catch up with you all when we get back, have a great week!

  2. Oh, a beach house. After our way too busy, way too confined vacation down south, my husband and I decided that next year, a beach house would be the way to go....for sure. Have a wonderful time, dolphin and all!

  14. Another thing we totally have in common...I do not fly either! Just doesn't seem natural...although given a chance to go to Paris I may just have to get over it! I hope you all have a wonderful vacation and enjoy every single minute!

I just read your redo on the dresser. I had never thought about using black board paint like you did, clever.
